  2. Problems in Stone Forest

    Higher loot rate which its at 15x right now will increase your chances for lag. Loot pets pick up the same pace that you can pick up, 1 item at a time. The server processes each thing it does in order 1 at a time.
  3. Game Freezes after Selecting Character

    If you're using Windows Defender you need to add the client folder as an exclusion. That will help with loading times. On Windows 10 Windows Defender scanning causes the loading times to be much longer. The client will act like it's not responding but it will eventually load in.

    I like the crafting option, even potentially make new ones or ways to upgrade weapons or even a way to make the hidden weapon into a skill or something. The pvp part of the game needs expansion.

    I'm just saying that if certain materials needed to make certain items required say being top/elite school in collection field to buy or even from country war have npc that sells something only that day during that time would increase the value of those items and might entice other players to participate. A bigger marker is better for the sure. Things aren't going to be as easy to come by on this new expansion as they have been in the past.

    Unless fans develop the ability to remove debuffs ain't happening. Having collection field be an area were only specific materials could drop would create a bigger market for items to be bought and sold. But what would you have pvp reputation used for then? Keep in mind that no changes would be made until the level cap. Plenty of time for discussion.

    Shelter charm is always going to take up a buff spot but this whole conversation did get me thinking of a way to change how shelter charm is used. I can't say for sure atm but it is possible I could change it so it doesn't use a visible buff but I can also make it so that other players would be able to tell by an effect if a player has a shelter charm effect on. This would also fix the issue of players abusing the ability to turn shelter charm off whenever they want to during a fight to quickly kill someone seeing as you wouldn't be able to disable the shelter charm buff. For sure something that I will be thinking about for the level cap.

    I'm actually all for this. As you've said shelter charms are easy to get if you do archaeology. As it is right now mounts don't really have a use and I know we plan to do some type of upgrade for mounts in the level cap. We've already removed teleport stones as a drop item and honestly I'd like to phase out the teleport stone feature anyways. Mounts don't have much use right now If you can go where you need to with a click. We still have earth temples and other various ways to teleport. I know there will be some that won't agree with this but sometimes things need to change. The game needs more pvp and there are ways to avoid pvp if that is your choice.

    A 5-second shield is too much for the relic, in my opinion, 3 seconds would be something more doable. Keep in mind these relics will be getting updates in the level cap.

    I don't recall any time that skill has worked 100%. Certain debuffs are just that, debuffs.

    These suggestions on paper look fine but until I open up the files and go to do changes I can't say for sure. I'll get back with you once I've checked over the files.

    All of the relic's effects are an additional effect based on a skill they have. I'm open to changing it to something else but it has to be something that is related to the skills the class possesses.

  17. Just one suggestion ...

    We have no control over how charms work with any of the forging and especially with school forging. The success rate is a percentage not anything to do with reputation amount. Gold forging is a luxury system. It's not meant for someone to do gold forging 1-20. Its there to help with the higher forgings that may take a little bit of time but is not something that is required for you to play the game.

    We have no control over anything like this. Most likely if it doesn't work it never worked in the past. With buffs like that the only thing we can do is change how it's applied.

  25. First Look - New Expansion

    With our next expansion for WoKF, we wanted to move away from doing the same thing that has been done in the past and instead expand on what we can do to make the game even more unique. Some of the major changes we are making is with how a player crafts gear for their toon and also how questing is done. Gear has always been the same for each class and person. Each class has one type they can usually pick from and are required to for the most part play with those attributes and gives the player no choice in how they play. With the new professions being added enchanting will play a major role in how a player creates their gear. Every class will start out with the same type of gear with the same base stats and with enchanting the players will have unique enchants they can place on their gear which will change how they decide to play their class. The type of enchants players can put on gear is not known at this point but they will be limited to one type per piece of gear and there will not be a chance for any bonus equipment buffs with this system. With questing in the past players are met with a quest line that they don’t read and just see what needs to be done and don’t care about any of the other parts of that quest. Starting at level 80 you will be talking to a mission manager to get a random quest that will have you perform some duty to complete the quest. It would not be a wise idea to cancel the quest seeing as you will be required to trade a specific item (unknown currently) to accept the quest. Completing the quest will award you with an item that is needed for professions to complete work orders which will grant you materials needed for that profession. There will be other ways to get this item also but this allows you to get some experience while also helping you progress your profession. Quest will not be the primary way to level on this expansion. General Overview of WoKF Expansion 3.0: Level Cap 100 New Town - Lots of New NPC’s New Grinding Map New Instance Updated Country System World Reputation New Weekly Events Dungeon Difficulty (Was suppose to be included on previous expansion but was postponed) Profession System Bonus Loot Reroll Skill Changes *This list is not complete and will be updated as we decide to add new systems. As per usual our level cap will be jumping up 20 levels to level 100. The current king and country system has no real reason for involvement of the players and we intended to give the reason for players to want to participate in these events. The Country Invasions, Country War, King of Kung Fu Events and The Legendary School Event will be the primary ways to acquire World Reputation. World Reputation will be used for items needed for recipes in professions. Profession System: Each player will be able to choose from one of four unique professions. Once a profession is picked you will not be able to change it no matter what. Tailoring: Specialized use with fabrics to create fashion upgrades and bandages. Inscription: Specialized use with scrolls create upgrades to transform cards and create emblems. Alchemy: Specialized use with herbs to create powerful potions and flask. Enchanting: Specialized use of various materials to create powerful enchantments on your equipment. Cooking will be available to everyone. You'll be able to create powerful food that grants you stats useful in battle, create foods to restore Health/Mana/Aggression out of combat faster and also create unique foods that perform odd abilities. Bonus Loot System: After killing a boss if you’ve acquired a special coin a dialog will appear asking you if you want to reroll for a drop chance on this boss. You could still get nothing, you could get coins or you could get a piece of gear that could drop from the boss. Skill Changes: Not much has been discussed about skills or how they’re going to be changed. Ideas have been floating around but nothing decided yet. There are locations on the forum to give your suggestions for skills. This might not seem like a lot of information when reading but is a lot of information on the back-end and for you the players once you are able to do this in game.
